Matrix to Prioritize Automations
CSV matrix to prioritize automations using your operation's data: repetition, volume, time, errors and dependencies. Helps you choose the first task to automate before evaluating tools.
In this guide

Instructions
- Write one task per row, including a description of its steps.
- Record weekly volume and minutes per execution measured, not estimated.
- Rate repetition, errors and dependencies from 1 to 3 (for dependencies, 3 means few dependencies).
- Calculate hours per week: volume multiplied by minutes, divided by 60. Do it by hand or in your spreadsheet; the CSV does not include formulas.
- Sort by hours per week and review the dependencies rating before choosing.
